Embarkation begins at 5am. Gates close at 7:00am
sharp on regular scheduled departures - Please allow two hours for check-in Advance reservations and payment required. Please allow at least two hours
for check in.
ID to enter pier:
When entering Port Everglades, the driver and the passengers of the
vehicle will be asked to show a valid photo ID with a Cruise Confirmation
Parking at the Pier
Covered public parking is located in the vicinity of the cruise terminal
for a nominal fee. There is no free public parking in the port.
Baggage Requirements
Discovery allows one (1) free piece of
checked baggage per adult passenger at maximum weight of 70 lbs per
luggage. Second piece will be charged $15, additional pieces $25. Adult
passengers are permitted to carry two (2) pieces of conventional hand
baggage (purse, briefcase, backpack) Children under the age of 12 are
permitted to carry one (1) child backpack onboard. This requirement is
valid even if you rented a cabin.

Island Transfers
We offer island transfers
from the port to the resort of choice for a charge of $20 to $26 per
person round trip. Rental cars are available on island but there are no
rental car companies located near the port. Taxi van services are
available; distance and number of passengers in taxi determine fare. Taxi
rates based upon a full taxi van vary from $5 to $10 per person from the
port to hotels and resort areas. Taxi fare based upon 2 persons in a taxi
from Port to Port Lucaya is $26 each way. Tour buses and limited public
bus services are available on island - please note that public buses are
not available from the port and do not run on Sundays.
Letter of Consent
Minors under the age of 18
yrs old, must have a NOTARIZED letter of consent at least from one parent
allowing the minor to travel to Grand Bahama Island. The letter must
indicate the name of the adult responsible for him and/or her on the trip.
Cabins
We offer a variety of
amenities on board. One of them is the privacy of a cabin. They can be
reserved at time of booking. The prices range from $65.00 to $150.00.
Please note baggage restrictions do apply.
Discovery Plus
This service is offered to
adult travelers on Cruise N Stay Vacations and includes the following:
• Priority embarkation and debarkation
• Bus
transfers to and from your hotel on the island.
• Access to the exclusive Florida Room on board.
• Champagne Breakfast, a la carte lunch & seven course dining at our Grand Bahama Grill on the
return cruise.
Discovery Plus service is available to guests ages 12 and up; access to
the Florida room is restricted to guests 17 years and older. Discovery
Plus guests are asked to make themselves known to Discovery staff at
check-in, in order to expedite your check in process.
Discovery Kids Club
Our cruise is family oriented
so we offer for children 6 to 11 years old Discovery Kids Club with a fun
filled agenda of games and activities while you enjoy our cruise and all
it has to offer. Registration is FREE.
Deluxe Dining (Grand
Bahama Grill /A La Carte Lunch/ Champagne Breakfast)
Enjoy the experience of our
deluxe dining with waiter service and featuring on our menu a seven course
meal. Which includes appetizer, soup, salad, vegetables, main entrée,
dessert, beverages (coffee, iced tea, milk, tea and decaf).
