DISCOVERY OFFERS
$25 GRAND BAHAMA GRILL TO RED HAT SOCIETY MEMBERS
The offer is available for nearly the
remainder of 2006
Miami, FL—Discovery Cruise Line, the region’s largest tour operator to Grand
Bahama Island, is offering a special
upgrade for same day roundtrip cruises to members of the Red Hat Society. The
offer is a free seven course dinner in the famous Grand Bahama Grill on board
that normally costs $25 per person, and the cruise line will extend the courtesy
of one cabin for groups of fifteen or more.
According to Hanns J. Hahn, General Manager of Discovery, “Florida has many
chapters of the Red Hat Society and we would like to recognize its members with
a special cruise offer on Discovery Cruise Line. We hope they will enjoy the
experience and recommend it to other chapters of their society.” The offer
expires December 15, 2006.
The Red Hat Society is a national organization of women 50 years of age or older
who wear red hats and purple outfits when they attend functions. The purpose of
the Red Hat Society is for its members to have fun after having shouldered
various responsibilities at home and in the community their whole lives.
Discovery sails daily from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama
Island, departing at 7:45 am and returning at 10 pm. Discovery offers same day
roundtrip cruises as well as cruise and stay vacation packages at most of the
island’s hotels.
