DISCOVERY CRUISE LINE ANNOUNCES FREE SUMMER VACATION
FOR KIDS 17 AND UNDER

Miami, FL --- Discovery Cruise Line, which offers cruise service between South Florida and Grand Bahama Island every day of the week except Wednesdays, announced that, effective May 1, 2009, kids 17 and under will sail free and stay free at select resorts and kids 12 and under will sail free and stay free (except for all-inclusive resorts), and even eat free at select resorts on Grand Bahama.  Each kid must be accompanied by a full-fare paying adult.

Hanns J. Hahn, General Manager of Discovery, said that “Discovery is trying to respond to the economic conditions that exist nationally by making it more affordable for a family to vacation together.  Discovery will be providing free cruises to kids 17 and under, and free accommodations on Grand Bahama to kids 12 and under at all resorts (except all-inclusive) on island and to kids 17 and under at select resorts.  In addition, kids 12 and under can eat free at select Grand Bahama resorts.  In all cases, each kid must be accompanied by a full-fare paying adult.  This will permit families to vacation together at a significantly reduced cost.  We will continue this program through the end of this summer.”
