Miami, FL---Discovery Cruise Line, which sails daily except Wednesdays from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama Island, announced that it will sail on certain Wednesdays prior to the holidays.

The additional sailing dates are November 21, 2007 (before Thanksgiving Day) and December 19 (before Christmas) and December 26, 2007 (immediately after Christmas).  The schedule and itinerary will be identical to the other days of the week.

“Because of the shopping opportunities available both in South Florida and on Grand Bahama Island, we wanted to give our customers as many sailings as possible to complete their holiday purchases and be able to return home without delay,” said Hanns J. Hahn, General Manager of Discovery.

Discovery is the largest tour operator to Grand Bahama from South Florida, carrying over 150,000 passengers a year.

Discovery‘s cruise amenities include three all-you-can-eat meals, a Las Vegas rules-style casino, live entertainment, games, activities, a show, disco, and even a Kid’s Club.  Plus, passengers have plenty of room to stretch their legs on one of the spacious decks.
