Explore the Island with an experienced local guide. Your first stop will be the Tropical Garden of the Groves where you have the option of a guided tour or to explore on your own. Interpretive plant signs will highlight this lush landscape with trees and flowers from the Bahamas and around the world. You will find a replica of the original chapel from the early logging days, tranquil lagoons and cascading waterfalls.  Walk down into the cool fern gully and marvel at the huge limestone boulders that tower to both sides of your trail! Next, Visit beautiful Tranquility Shores beach where you can relax or enjoy a dip in the ocean. A leisurely drive will take you through Millionaires Row, one of Freeport's most picturesque residential areas. On your way to the open-air fruit market you will tour through native areas where you will see schools, local conch stands and churches. The historical background of Grand Bahama will be narrated throughout the tour. Last stop is to one of the two main shopping areas, for some duty free shopping. At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel, OR if you have tickets you can be dropped off at the Glass Bottom Boat or Snorkel Adventure.
