TAINO BEACH RESORT & CLUBS PLUS SHOPPING TOUR Transportation will be standing by to take you to the beautiful Taino Beach Resort and Clubs. A Bahama Mama or Fruit Punch will be served upon arrival. Passengers may relax and enjoy the resort and beach facilities including one of the largest swimming pools on island, waterslide, changing rooms & lounge chairs. After enjoying the beach, transportation via water taxi will take you to Port Lucaya Marketplace and Marina for shopping and a chance to visit the Straw Market. GARDEN OF THE GROVES AND SIGHTSEEING TOUR A narrated bus ride takes you from the pier through the harbour area, the City of Freeport, past colonial style buildings, the International Bazaar with its Tori Gate and along Churches Row. Upon arrival at the Garden of the Groves you will be taken on a guided tour over winding trails along tranquil ponds with fish, turtles and ducks and cascading waterfalls. The landscape is lush with tropical trees and vegetation from the Bahamas and around the world. There is a historic chapel from the early logging days and a spiritual Labyrinth for meditation. For the youngsters there is a cedar play set with slides, climbing wall, swings and other features tucked away in the playground.

Shopping at our pastel-colored Garden Shops will be another highlight of your visit to the Garden of the Groves. Here you find authentic Bahamian arts and crafts, coconut jewelry, books, t-shirts, fragrances, Cuban cigars, wood carvings, handmade candles, local straw works and much more. Then there is time to relax in the cafe, bar or restaurant decks overlooking ponds and waterfalls. Your bus will return you back to your ship in time for departure.
